Giving Our Appreciation for Learning – GOAL (formerly known as the Community Accountability Committee) wishes to express deep appreciation to those of you who helped us launch two hugely successful years of promoting school and student achievement through community recognition of teachers, staff, and students at Christian County schools.  Through your generous contributions of over $35,000 in cash and in-kind donations, we have been able to host hundreds of school staffers at annual appreciation events and raffle over 900 student prizes – one of which was the giveaway of a brand new Toyota Yaris to a Christian County Public School senior in 2010.

Our efforts continue to bear significant fruit!  In Christian County Public Schools alone, we:

-        Moved up another 34 spots in state ranking – that’s a gain of 65 spots in two years

-        Received national recognition as a member of the College Board’s AP® District Honor Roll for significant gains in Advanced Placement® access and student performance

-        Made even more gains in most areas of non-academic data including drop-out, attendance and graduation rates.

We trust that you want to continue being a part of our success by supporting our efforts again this year.  If you were unable to give last year, please consider making a donation this time around.  Our schools are as capable as any around, and we know with your help they’ll continue to reach their highest potential!
