The Hopkinsville Fire Department has adopted 50 families from the Salvation Army to assist with Christmas for the children. This year we have 112 children ages 0- 18. Our program provides a Christmas style dinner for a majority of the families on our list. At this party the children are given an opportunity to visit with Santa, have a family style dinner and pick out their own toys from the toy room. We also have a bicycle drawing for the bikes that are donated. The children have enjoyed picking their own gifts versus us guessing what they may want. We have enjoyed providing this program for 11 years and hope that you will consider “helping us to help others.”

Toys and monetary donations will be accepted through Dec. 16th. And can be dropped off at any of our four fire stations. Pick-ups are available. Inspector Cecelia Cloos can be contacted should you have any questions at 348-5053.
