These Hopkinsville facilities have are open and operational.

Hopkinsville Solid Waste: Closed on Saturdays until further notice.  Residential herbie service will continue to be picked up on  regular route days.  

The Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail, Tie Breaker Park walking trail and Hopkinsville Dog Park (at Pardue Lane) will remain open, with the public encouraged to follow all health and safety rules. Signage will be posted at all facilities. If any of the aforementioned areas become a regular gathering area of over 10 people, those facilities will also be closed.  All park-run leagues, reservations, and organized events (on fields and at pavilions) are canceled.

City Hall/Hopkinsville Municipal Center

Christian County Government Buildings

: Closed to the public until further notice.

Christian County Senior Centers

Community and Development Services

Curbside Recycling: Service suspended and all recycling drop-off sites closed to the public until further notice.

Driver's Licenses: Office is closed to the public. 90-day extensions have been granted for renewals. Visit COVID-19 and the Courts for more information.

Hopkinsville Transit:  All buses are limited to 6 passengers in every other seat to allow for social distancing.  The sale of bus passes is suspended.  Exact change will be deposited in a designated receptacle to limit contact with the driver.  A determination will be made on a later date when we can resume normal operations.

Housing Authority of Hopkinsville: Office closed to the public as of March 18.  Payments will be accepted through a new dropbox; other business will be handled by phone.  For more details, call (270) 887-4275.

Library: Facility closed to public until March 30.  free Wi-Fi, 24/7, available in the immediate area surrounding the outside of the library
