Councilman Jimmy Dossett works as a dispatcher at Rogers Group. He has been with the company for 38 years. He graduated from Hopkinsville High School in 1973.
Dossett has served on City Council since 2009. He currently holds a position on the Emergency Communications Center Board and the E911 Advisory Board. He has also served as Vice President and PowWow Chairman for the Trail of Tears Commission for four years and as President of the Vaperz Car & Truck Club for 5 years.
He is married to the former Becky Craft, and they have two children and three grandchildren. He has worked with the Boy Scouts for several years. There, he helped his son earn an Eagle Scout Award and is continuing the tradition with his grandson through Cub Scouts.
