Councilman Tom Johnson retired from the U.S. Army in 2013 after thirty years of decorated service. He has a background in Maintenance and Logistics and has worked the last seventeen years on Fort Campbell, currently as a Warehouse Manager.
During his military career, Johnson earned the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 5 and received a number of awards and recognitions.
Councilman Johnson also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from Austin Peay State University with a minor in Automotive Maintenance.
Councilman Johnson is in his first term on City Council and currently holds positions on the Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority Board, Christian County Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee Advisory Board, Hopkinsville/Christian County Airport Board, and Pennyrile Solid Waste Management Authority.
