Delta & MYC Youth Forum Set for President's Day
The Delta Youth Summit will provide a needed forum for local youth. The summit is designed to engage young people in activities that will help them: problem solve, build alliances, resolve conflict and to foster and improve communication between youth and adults.
All High school, Middle school, 5th and 6th grade students from CCPS, UHA, HCA, Saints Peter and Paul Catholic School, and homeschool are invited to attend this youth empowering event.
All community groups and leaders, educators, city and county officials, and public servants law and fire will be invited to support our area youth at the summit.
Tara Toliver, Delta Alumnae and one of the forum developers explained, “We know that when our young people are engaged, equipped and empowered to make positive choices it becomes a Win-Win for our schools and communities”.
The moderator for this event is Reverend Darvin A. Adams. The panelist will include Reverend Joe T. Leavell and the Mayor’s Youth Council.
