City of Hopkinsville Makes Public Records Available Online

Hopkinsville’s City Clerk and Information Technology Divisions announced the online availability of public records through a portal, powered by Laserfiche.  By visiting Hoptown Hotline at hoptown.org, the public, staff members, and elected officials have access to browse or keyword search public portions of the clerk’s office records management system.

City officials undertook the project in efforts to be even more transparent and efficient in providing records for other departments and the public.  Available documents include all legislative records (e.g., minutes, ordinances, municipal orders, etc.) as well as city contracts and agreements, ethics records, and board meeting minutes provided to the clerk’s office by other agencies.
