THE CITY OF HOPKINSVILLE
FIREFIGHTER PARAMEDIC/EMT/TRAINEE
($41,650 annual salary plus $4,000 Incentive, plus EMS stipend, After all training & certifications)

Applicants must be 21 years of age, eligible to work in the U.S., high school graduate or equivalent, in excellent physical condition, and possess a valid driver's license. Applicants having a felony conviction cannot be considered due to EMS certification requirements.

Applicants must successfully complete Fire and EMT certification during six month probationary period for continued employment.

THE CITY OF HOPKINSVILLE 
POLICE OFFICER (LATERAL)
$41,650-$54,676 salary range + $4,000 State Incentive

Must be a KY certified Police Officer or approved by the Department of Criminal Justice for transferable out-of-state police certification credentials. Additional information/documents/testing may be required as successful applicants continue thru the recruitment process. An extensive background investigation will be performed. 

Shift schedule rotates days/evening shifts with 4-ten hour work weeks with every other weekend off. Excellent benefits include health, dental, vision, & life insurance. 15 vacation days, 12 sick days, and 8 floating holidays per year are offered. Certified Police Officers may be eligible for a $9,000 hiring incentive.
