International Soccer Camp Moves to Sportsplex

The Hopkinsville Division of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the continued partnership with Challenger Sports to host a week long International Soccer camp for ages 3-16 June 3-7, 2019. The Challenger Sport Soccer Camp moves indoors this year at the new Hopkinsville Sportsplex. Each player will be coached by a member of Challenger’s International coaching staff flown to the USA exclusively to work on these programs.

Programs Coordinator, Toby Hudson stated, “We have been working with Challenger Sports several years and have created a great relationship. What an outstanding opportunity for youth soccer players of all skill levels from the community participating in such a unique camp experience at our new indoor complex. You can beat the heat and eliminate the rain at the new venue. ”

Challenger Sports International Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the country based upon one of the most innovative approaches to coaching youth soccer in the US and Canada. The experienced international staff study the game at all levels and will help players improve their core techniques and become more confident on the ball. With programs for each age, the curriculum includes a variety of foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, freestyle soccer, small-sided games and coached scrimmages. World Cup style games are held each day where campers compete for their adopted country and are encouraged to learn about different customs and cultures, and the core values of respect, responsibility, integrity, sportsmanship and leadership.

Each camper will receive $100.00 worth of camp gifts, a 12-month subscription to Online Coaching Resources, and their Personal Coach App. In addition, any child who signs up online before May 3, 2019 will receive a genuine International Soccer replica Jersey. Registration is open now at www.challengersports.com or call Nathan Ragan 678-540-1578.
