National Dance Day was created and introduced to the world by Nigel Lithgow, Executive Producer and a judge for the popular Fox Television program, “So You Think You Can Dance”. In 2010, Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton, introduced a National Dance Day resolution to promote dance education and physical fitness in the United States. National Dance Day, always the last Saturday in July, is an annual event and a "grassroots initiative to encourage the nation, young and old, to move!"

2013 National Dance Day celebrations will be held across the country, including Hopkinsville, Kentucky – on Saturday, July 27th, at the Christian County Middle School Gym.

Our day will begin with two, 1-hour Master Classes, taught by world dance professional and Tennessee Titans Cheerleader, Jessi Peralta (see bio):

The cost is only $15.00 per person.
