The logo, which clearly spells out the name of the facility, uses green and brown colors within “Sportsplex” to represent the turf and playing court options that will be available inside the brand new athletic complex.
The “T” in “Sportsplex” extends out to cover the entire word, mirroring the similar look made by the facility’s A-frame roof — currently being finalized by A&K Construction at 155 Tilley Way in Hopkinsville. Once completed, the Hopkinsville Sportsplex will work to become the premier destination in western Kentucky for visitors and guests related to sports tourism.
“We are excited to launch our logo as we ramp up the marketing of this new facility,” said Hopkinsville Mayor Carter Hendricks. “We are also excited to help bring athletes and families from around this region to enjoy our new facility and help our economy.”
“Knowing that people will make perceptions about the Sportsplex brand when they see this logo, we took our time in searching and tweaking, until we got it right,” said Hopkinsville Sportsplex Marketing and Events Coordinator Chris Jung. “We wanted a design that looks sharp and clean — something that clearly reflects our purpose while boldly separating this facility from anything else out there.”
The Sportsplex will now begin the task of accordingly updating all collaterals, apparel, machines, business cards, social media portals, etc. with the new logo. For any outlets or businesses that need the logo to update marketing materials, please email email@example.com. All file types are available.
