Aquatic Park Manager

Pay: $10.00-$12.00 per hour depending on experience

Reports To: Aquatic Director

Position: Part-time; Seasonal (May – September) (20-40 hours per week)

General Function:

Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, in cooperation with the Associate Executive Director, the City Recreation Dept. and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Park Manager will be responsible for the operation and supervision of the park and its employees including but not limited to office scheduling, financial oversight and park safety. ARC First Aid and CPR certification required*.

Pool Deck Manager

Pay: $9.00-$10.00 per hour depending on experience

Reports To: Aquatic Director

Position: Part-time; Seasonal (May – September) (20-40 hours per week)

General Function:

Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, in cooperation with the Associate Executive Director, the City Recreation Dept. and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Deck Manager will be responsible for the supervision of the pool deck and its employees including but not limited to pool chemical balance, maintenance and conflict resolution. Position requires a current ARC LG certification*.

Park Cashier

Pay: $8.00-$9.00 per hour depending on experience

Reports To: Aquatic Park Manager

Position: Part-time; Seasonal (May – September) (20-40 hours per week)

General Function:

Under the direction of the Park Manager, in cooperation with the Aquatic Director, the Associate Executive Director and the City Recreation Dept. and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Cashier will be responsible for but not limited to the collection of park fees, distribution of appropriate entry bands and sale of miscellaneous park fees. ARC First Aid and CPR certification required*.

Park Maintenance

Pay: $8.00-$9.00 per hour depending on experience

Reports To: Aquatic Park Manager

Position: Part-time; Seasonal (May – September) (20-40 hours per week)

General Function:

Under the direction of the Park Manager, in cooperation with the Aquatic Director, the Associate Executive Director and the City Recreation Dept. and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, the Maintenance/Custodian will be responsible for but not limited for the overall cleanliness of the park, operation of the aquatic filtration system and minor park maintenance repairs. ARC First Aid and CPR certification required*.

Lifeguards

Pay:       $ 7.50-$ 9.00 per hour depending on experience

Reports To: Aquatic Director      

Position: Part-time; Seasonal (May – September) (20-30 hours per week)

General Function:

Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, in cooperation with the Associate Executive Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, Lifeguards are responsible for supervising swimmers of all ages.  Lifeguards must be at least 16 years old and have ARC LG or comparable certification*.

Swim Instructors

Pay:       $ 10.00-$12 .00 per class depending on experience

Reports To: Aquatic Director      

Position: Part-time; Seasonal (June– July) (8 classes per week)

General Function:

Under the direction of the Aquatic Director, in cooperation with the Associate Executive Director and consistent with the Christian mission of the YMCA, Swim Instructors are responsible for teaching swim lessons to children of elementary age.  Instructors must be at least 16 years old and have ARC LG certification*.
