The City of Hopkinsville and the Division of Parks and Recreation are pleased to announce that the Hopkinsville YMCA, under contract with the City, will be managing Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center this year. With the YMCA’s professional staff, experience in managing swimming pools, and their emphasis on safety and training, we expect that 2013 will be another great season of water, sun and family fun at Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center.

Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center opened in 2007. 2013 will be the 7th year of operation. Last year, the park served over 46,000 visitors, with average daily attendance of 545. Approximately 35% of those who have visited Tie Breaker Family Aquatic Center are from the Fort Campbell and Clarksville area.

This year, “Fun Days Mondays” are back, when guests may purchase one admission at regular price and receive a second admission of equal or lesser value free – all day on Mondays. Also, each Monday through Friday, except holidays, admission is ½ price after 4pm. 2013 admissions prices remain unchanged from 2012, with individual season passes still only $59.00 per person.

We now have nearly 4,728 fans on Facebook, where the public can find current information on contests, promotions, and any weather closings at facebook.com/TieBreakerAquatic. They may also follow us on Twitter at twitter.com/Tie_Breaker.
