Human Relations Commission Invites the Public to Women's History Month Reception

The Hopkinsville Human Relations Commission would like to, cordially invite the public to attend the Women’s History Month Reception, on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at 5 p.m. at Hopkinsville Municipal Center, Council Chambers located at 715 S. Virginia Street.

Hopkinsville Human Relations Commission will announce the “Woman of the Year” Fannie Bronson Postell Award, as well as announce the winner of the $500 Women Educating Women Scholarship recipient.

This year’s National Women’s Project theme is “Working to Form a Perfect Union: Honoring Women in Public Service and Government” seeks to recognize and revere women who serve as leaders at the national, state, and local level.

Admission is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served as well.
