The project will be anchored by national leading retailers such as TJ Maxx, Ross Dress for Less, Burke’s Outlet, Hobby Lobby, PetSmart and Rack Room Shoes. In addition, the developer is working with a several additional national and regional retailers and restaurants and expects the development to be 100% leased upon completion in late summer 2017.
Chris Hake of Thompson Thrift has been working with City and County officials on the development of the proposed shopping center since mid-2012. Hake believes the cooperation Thompson Thrift has received from various members of the City and County are what made this project ultimately possible.
“Former Mayor Dan Kemp, current Mayor Carter Hendricks, City Manager Nate Pagan, economic development Executive Director Mitch Robinson and several other members of the City and County played an enormous role in making this project a reality,” said Hake. “Without the cooperation we received from the City and County, this project would not have been possible.”
