The Hopkinsville Division of Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the continued partnership with Challenger Sports to host a week long British Soccer camp for ages 3-18 June 5-9, 2017 at DeBow Recreation Complex. Each player will be coached by a member of Challenger’s British coaching staff flown to the USA exclusively to work on these programs.  (Download a Flyer & Registration Form)

Programs Coordinator, Toby Hudson stated, “Our department has been working with Challenger Sports and look forward to continuing the relationship that we have created, it is a great opportunity for our community that soccer players of all skill levels can participate in such a unique camp experience.”

Challenger will hold over 4,000 British Soccer Camps this summer hosting over 150,000 players, as well as completing FREE coach education clinics for over 40,000 parents and coaches. In addition to taking part in a daily regime of foot skill development (through the 1,000 touches curriculum), technical and tactical practices and daily ‘World Cup’ tournament style play, each player will be treated to a rich cultural experience with lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship. Challenger’s custom built camps focus on individual player development and are delivered by a staff handpicked to coach the players.

Each camper will receive a FREE camp T-shirt, soccer ball, soccer poster, individual skills performance evaluation and free access to an educational soccer website. In addition, any child who signs up online before April 21, 2017 will receive a genuine British Soccer replica Jersey valued at $39.
