We need your help to achieve an exciting local community project, Project Playground: Kid Designed-Community Built. As part of this “grassroots” effort, residents of Hopkinsville, Christian County, and the surrounding area are joining hands to provide our children a state-of-the-art playground. What makes this project truly unique is the playground has been designed by Christian County school children and will be built by community members, like you, your friends, and your neighbors. The build will take place over five days: April 30 through May 4, 2008! Your volunteer assistance is critical to making this project happen.

The Fundraising Committee has been hard at work gathering pledges toward our project goal. To make this project a reality, we need hundreds of volunteers to do their part. Won’t you help us build the best playground in Christian County? It doesn’t matter if you’ve never picked up a hammer before – there are jobs for everyone at a variety of times. Project Playground needs your commitment.
