Hopkinsville Community College offers area residents the opportunity to obtain a quality postsecondary education without leaving home. Hopkinsville Community College offers customized business and industry training in a multitude of areas for job and career preparation, as well as skill development and upgrading. Adult Education programs offer classes in GED preparation, English as a Second Language and to refresh basic skills before enrolling in college classes.

A regional campus of Murray State University in Hopkinsville offers a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs, including a new 16-month accelerated degree program. Weekend, evening and online classes are available to accommodate a range of both traditional and non-traditional student needs. The Center for Continuing Education and Academic Outreach provides correspondence courses, extended campus classes, consultants and other public services.

LWC is located on more than 200 partially wooded acres on a hilltop in Columbia, Ky., a small town about 20 miles from Lake Cumberland in South Central Kentucky. Lindsey Wilson College has an extended campus in Hopkinsville, with classes held at the Hopkinsville Community College.
