FY 2021-2022 Mayor's Budget Address:
Mayor Wendell Lynch is set to unveil the city’s FY 2021-2022 budget recommendations during a press conference to be broadcast from the Hopkinsville Municipal Center Council Chamber at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7.   Budget recommendations and footage from the press conference will be available for download from the city’s website at hoptown.org/budget by 2:00 p.m. that afternoon.  Thanks to declines in area COVID-19 cases, there will be limited, socially distanced seating available for in-person viewing.

Following the press conference, the budget will be taken up for consideration by Hopkinsville City Council at a series of Committee of the Whole meetings.  Those committee meetings are scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on May 13, May 20, and May 27 (if needed).

Those unable to attend the budget address are invited to watch it and later Committee of the Whole meetings live by online streaming or on television.  To stream the events online, visit hoptown.org/tv or the city’s Facebook page @CityofHopkinsville.  Cable customers may also watch the City TV broadcasts on Spectrum Cable Channel 376.
