Hopkinsville Transit Asks for Customer Feedback While Cruising Beyond 30,000 Rides

Hopkinsville Transit invites riders to take part in an important survey aimed at measuring the transportation system’s future needs.  Surveys are available today and will be collected through September 18th

They are available online at, from Hopkinsville Transit Dispatch located at Clay and East 12th Streets, or from the Hopkinsville Municipal Center located at 715 South Virginia Street (at East 9th Street).

Hopkinsville Public Transportation Advisory Committee Chairman Paul Henson noted, “Hopkinsville Transit is committed to offering affordable rates, convenient routes, and strong service.  A survey is a great way for us to hear from riders and make sure we continue to deliver a system that best meets the needs of our community.”  Gathering feedback from current riders, future customers, business community partners, and agencies whose clients frequent our services will be vital as the service continues to grow and adapt.

The importance of planning for future system needs and potential growth was highlighted by Hopkinsville Transit cruising past the 30,431 ride mark as of August 25 and seeing ridership up 51.92% compared to this time last year. In 2016, it took until early December for the system to reach the 30,000 ride mark.  The milestone brings our lifetime service record to just over 84,000 rides delivered and 322,843 miles traveled.

For more information on the survey, please call (270) 890-0215.
