Donate to the Imagination Library

Hopkinsville-Christian County Imagination Library is excited to offer a new, easy way to donate to Imagination Library.

The Dolly Parton Imagination Library Foundation has created a donation landing page for each affiliate as part of their website.  This new site makes it easier than ever before to donate directly to the Christian County Imagination Library affiliate.

From the www.hccpl.org webpage you can choose the DONATE HERE button beneath the Imagination Library Logo.  The new site allows you to make a one-time donation or a monthly recurring donation of any amount.  The site provides an opportunity for your donation to be made in someone’s honor or in memory of someone.  The site provides your donation to also remain anonymous or to be added to their site.  All donations made through this link, go directly to the Christian County Dolly Parton Imagination Library Affiliate.  Enrollment into the program is easy, FREE and can be accessed from the same webpage link.

The Christian County Imagination Library serves approximately 3600 children ages birth to 5 years old that live in the following communities of Christian County:
• Crofton
• Ft. Campbell
• Herndon
• Hopkinsville
• Lafayette
• Oak Grove
• Pembroke

While the average donation from our community is $250, a $25 donation provides a high-quality book each month to one child for a year.  The goal of the Imagination Library Program is to put a book in the hands of every child, birth to 5, in Christian County.

Megan Marsh, Christian County Imagination Library Coordinator, shared, “I couldn’t be more excited to offer such a convenient option for donations. I have had multiple donors ask for this and I can finally offer it to them!”

The Imagination Library is an important step in preparing our children to be kindergarten ready.  Imagination Library teaches our children to recognize words and letters and by reading to children, they also understand the importance of listening and comprehension.
