Live Streaming of Graduation Ceremonies on May 27th

The graduation ceremony for Hopkinsville High School is scheduled for Friday, May 27, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. The graduation speaker will be Mr. Jack Lackey, a partner with the law firm Deathridge, Myers, & Lackey in Hopkinsville, KY, the Christian County Public Schools School Board Attorney and a 1986 graduate of Hopkinsville High School.  

The graduation ceremony for Christian County High School is scheduled for Friday, May 27, 2016 at 8:30 p.m. The graduation speaker will be Frankie Smith, Christian County High School Physical Education Teacher and the Head Basketball Coach.   Both ceremonies will be held at the Stadium of Champions.  In the case of inclement weather, ceremonies will become a ticketed event.  Locations of the ceremonies will be changed to the high school gymnasiums.  The public will be informed of any changes or updates regarding graduation on the day of the event via press releases, website, radio and social media.   

Graduation ceremonies will be available from the convenience of a computer screen or television.  Families will be able to watch their loved ones graduate on Friday, May 27, 2016.  Those interested in viewing graduation ceremonies live may visit and click on a link that will direct them to a live stream of the ceremony.  The link will be posted and can be accessed on the day of the graduation ceremonies.  Graduation ceremonies will also be shown on the local Hopkinsville television channel, Channel 16.11 for Time Warner subscribers.   

The Baccalaureate Service and Senior Awards Ceremony for Hopkinsville High School will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. inside the Performing Arts Center (PAC) located at Christian County Middle School.  The speaker will be Reverend Jeremy Gilmer, Youth Minister at First Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, KY.    

The Baccalaureate Service for Christian County High School will be held on Sunday, May 22 at 5:30 p.m. in the Christian County High School Gymnasium.  The speaker will be Javonte Mahone, a senior student at Christian County High School and Youth Minister at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Hopkinsville, KY.  The Senior Awards Ceremony will follow at 6:15 p.m.
