Holiday Shopping Arrives Early with Christmas in July Friday & Saturday

Summertime temperatures may say otherwise, but holiday shopping is also in the air
this weekend at the Planters Bank-Jennie Stuart Health Hopkinsville Sportsplex with the Inaugural Christmas In
July craft and vendor fair.  The Sportsplex will be bustling Friday and Saturday with over 60 vendor booths on
full display from as far away as Lexington and Cookeville, TN.

Admission is absolutely free and Christmas In July will be open on Friday from 4-8 pm and on Saturday from
9 am through 4 pm.

“We are continuously searching for new events that can showcase the versatility of the Sportsplex, and our
ability to host events outside the typical sports tournaments and leagues,” said Tony Henson, Sportsplex
Facility Coordinator.  “We hope this unique event will bring folks to our community and facility that otherwise
may not have a reason to join us.”

With over 60 booths, Christmas in July will feature items such as handmade jewelry, vintage glassware,
handmade wood products, handmade ink pens, wreaths, floral items, hand-crafted clothes and blankets,
primitive home décor, pottery and ceramics, pet products, homemade soaps and beauty items, cookies,
cupcakes, and much more.

The vendor roster includes 14 from Tennessee, plus representation from Hopkinsville and throughout
Kentucky, including Murray, Paducah, Lexington, Benton, Hodgenville, and Elkton.
