Mayor Takes Steps to Support 100 Mile Challenge
Hendricks said “We couldn’t be more thrilled that over 1,000 Hopkinsvillians have signed up for this great challenge. Included in that number are nearly two dozen city employees and their families.” Hendricks added, “The health of our community is so important that we’d love to see even more individuals enjoy our wonderful greenway, parks, and other outdoor facilities during this fall season.”
In an effort to highlight Hopkinsville’s many walking venues, Hendricks also announced his participation in Monday Funday Greenway Runs to be held along the Hopkinsville rail trail. Participants will meet at the North Drive Trailhead on Mondays at 6 p.m. for several weeks beginning September 14.
Mayor Hendricks is scheduled to participate on the following Mondays:
- September 14
- September 21
- September 28
