Hopkinsville Mayor Carter Hendricks has promoted 11-year public works administrator Mike Perry to serve as the city’s next Public Works Director.  Perry’s appointment to the post will become effective January 4.

Mayor Hendricks stated, “We couldn’t be prouder of the talent of Team Hopkinsville to have someone with Mike’s skillset and character available to promote from within.  We are extremely excited to watch the department continue to blossom under his proven leadership.”

“I thank the City of Hopkinsville for this great opportunity and look forward to working together as we strive to make the Public Works Department and City of Hopkinsville the best they have ever been,” Perry said.
